The Global Vans Custom Culture Contest was created to inspire Off The Wall artists from around the world to show off their creativity using Vans shoes as a canvas. Once entered in the contest, shoe designs for each region were judged by a public vote and an expert Vans panel based on creativity, originality, and overall execution.
The top 10 North American finalists created a new custom shoe with expert help from Vans design mentors, and one final winner received a grand prize of $25,000-and the opportunity to have their creation come to life on the iconic Era silhouette. Congrats to JLOYO from Mexico, the official North American winner for Global Custom Culture 2019!
Built with JLOYOs contest-winning art, the Custom Culture Era also includes metal eyelets, padded collars, and Vans signature rubber waffle outsoles.
